Great, but off limits with prices

This is really gigantic unique world where I can hardly find any real drawbacks regarding the idea, the game and the way it was realized. But one that has bothered me since I first saw the project. It's the price of land. They have had voting events to kind of fix this issue, but there is no solution yet.
I don't think it's all that intuitive and easy to start your life in decentraland though.
Looking into the marketplace by today, the cheapest parcel is 13k+ at the current price that's almost $400. And we remember that the market is still down like 80%. That's just ridiculous. The problem may be that on launch people may have paid a lot for their mana, and don't want to take a loss. But that's crypto. Who wants to pay that much just for a little gaming experience on the blockchain. There are people like in every crypto project that got in early and have millions, but that's not going to be the average Joe. The player's creations on the marketplace are also mostly massively overpriced, c'mon what this going to be, why is everyone acting like TrippleA game developers that ruin the industry with their microtransactions bs.....
So this really puts the greatness of the game into the ground. This is not going to be very attractive to new players. This would have a better rating if not due to the monetary aspect of the game.
