It's not a scam, although they may have been overzealous in labeling Bitcoin Cash as Bitcoin, they have since made the distinction clearer. In reality both Bitcoin Cash and the current Bitcoin are variations on the original Bitcoin, which took different paths to solve the scaling problem. However some people are very sensitive to labeling Bitcoin Cash as Bitcoin, probably out of fear that the Bitcoin Cash solution may be better and that they backed the wrong horse. The Bitcoin Cash community seems to be much more friendly. But you should always do your own research before buying any cryptocurrency.

Technologically OK, but....

One of the projects that is actually not a bad coin from a technological point of view, I mean it's a Bitcoin fork, and it has found its way to be accepted and widely used. But I'm just not really getting warm enough with the people behind it and how they promote and act. Again, blockchain brings freedom among us, anyone can build and be part of it but there is not that one and only best solution, and that's what often appears to be the mindset of the "cashers".
